Kevin Konarzewski: Entrepreneurial Success

Kevin Konarzewski is a successful entrepreneur who lives and works in North Carolina. He began his working as a manager for companies like IBM, Honeywell Aerospace, and Teleflex. He founded his own company, Complete Inventory Services, in 2008, in order to serve the supply chain management needs of local businesses in North Carolina.

Kevin Konarzewski says that in order to succeed as an entrepreneur, he relied on the skills and experiences he developed in his years in the corporate world. He says there is no secret formula or magic bullet that will guarantee the success of a new business, but he does say that there are certain practices, some of them common sense, that will be a big help.

First and foremost, Kevin Konarzewski says new business owners should be ready to work hard. He had earned a Master of Business Administration and worked for other companies before he was read to step out on his own. His time with these other businesses allowed Kevin Konarzewski to develop a strong work ethic while learning practical skills.

He says that every entrepreneur is going to face setbacks. But Kevin Konarzewski says you can learn important lessons from negative situations. Even if you manage to launch a successful business like Complete Inventory Services, he says you need to be prepared to deal with failure. If you can learn from your mistakes and failures, you’ll be better equipped to avoid those problems in the future.

Entrepreneurial enterprises often depend on luck. Kevin Konarzewski recommends following your gut instinct in most cases. Naturally, your instincts should be based on an in-depth knowledge of your field, so make sure that you are thoroughly familiar with your industry.
